The reporting task

A report shaped
around the business.

Mall operations connect resource use with people, commercial relationships and the communities around each destination.

The report brings these subjects into a shared account of sustainability, linking the company’s strategy and governance with the practices and performance it reports.

Our contribution

A clearer basis
for interpreting performance.

Vogabe brought the narrative, reporting notes and design into one publication. The result was an account in which stakeholders could examine both the reported performance and the limits of the comparison.

01Concept

Connect commitments with the business.

The report gave governance, resource use, people and community activity a place within one account of the operating business. Readers could follow the connection from priorities to practices and reported measures.

02Content

Make the reporting boundaries explicit.

The narrative distinguished environmental site coverage from consolidated financial information and entity-specific governance disclosures. Readers were told what each account covered before interpreting its results.

03Design

Keep evidence beside the explanation.

Charts, reporting notes and a consistent page hierarchy brought composition, comparison and operating context together. Commitments and measured performance retained distinct roles on the page.

The reporting approach

The thinking,
visible on the page.

The reporting approach connects strategic priorities with a clear account of performance.

The structure of the work

Make the strategy legible

  1. 01

    Direction

    Set out the sustainability priorities.

  2. 02

    Connection

Explain how the priorities relate to the operating business.

  3. 03

    Structure

Give commitments and supporting actions a clear place.

01 / Structure and narrative

A strategy readers
can follow.

The structure brings sustainability commitments and strategic priorities into a single view. The hierarchy connects the wider direction with the subjects that follow in the report.

The structure of the work

Explain what the measures mean

  1. 01

    Composition

Show the elements that make up a result.

  2. 02

    Comparison

Use meaningful periods and clearly defined boundaries.

  3. 03

    Interpretation

Connect performance with operating context and priorities.

02 / Performance in context

Make the measures
easier to interpret.

Composition, historical totals and intensity sit alongside an explanation of operating context and future priorities. In the FY 2025–26 report, environmental coverage distinguished four destinations with a full year of data from a fifth with a partial-year contribution. A newly opened destination was excluded from that environmental dataset. Clear boundaries made the basis of comparison explicit.

The report made the perimeter of each disclosure explicit, including the distinction between internal review of sustainability data and audited financial information. This was a change in the quality of the account presented to stakeholders; operating achievements remain those of the client.
